Dear CDGC Members,
One of CDGC objectives for 2019 is to expand the Board to better represent our growing and more diverse community. To accomplish this we are putting forward an AGM motion to expand the Board to nine members from the mandated existing five members. We are seeking energetic people to stand for Board nomination.
· Current Executive members Don Seager, Chris Fenton, and Al Herring have agreed to stand for re-nomination leaving six positions open.
· Brenda Page, Kelly Morstad, and Shawn Friesen have been attending CDGC meetings as observers and all have agreed to have their names stand for nomination
· To reach a full Board (this is not required) we need to add three more nominees.
The CDGC Board meets on the last Wednesday of every month with the exception of July and August. The work load is not onerous but we do need reliable people who want to make things happen.
