Embrace the chill and bring your putting skills to the frosty fairways at the Calgary Disc Golf Community’s “Freeze Your Putt Off” event on November 16th. Whether you’re a seasoned disc golfer or new to the sport, this winter event is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a day of friendly competition, community spirit, and charitable giving. The event will wrap-up in the warm glow of Limber Disc Golf with winners, prizes, raffle draws and a BBQ put on by the CDGC!
We are proudly partnering with the Calgary Drop-In Centre. $10 from each registration will support their mission, and we will be collecting donations of winter essentials, including:
- Large Items:
- Winter coats (new or gently used)
- Winter footwear (new, all sizes)
- Small Items:
- Gloves, mitts (new, all sizes)
- Toques (new)
- Socks (new in all sizes, particularly warm moisture-wicking socks)
When:
November 16, 2024
- Check-in: 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM @ Limber Disc Golf
- Rounds: 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM & 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM @ Stanley Park
- Wrap-Up, Prizes & Raffle Draw: 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM @ Limber Disc Golf

Costs:
- $20 per person (CDGC Members receive a $10 discount)
- $10 from each registration will be donated to the Calgary Drop-In Centre
- $5 for a BBQ ticket
Raffle Tickets:
- 1 ticket for $5
- 5 tickets for $10
- 20 tickets for $20
- Donate one large or two small clothing items to the Drop-In Centre (see list above) for a free raffle and BBQ ticket
