It all started last Wednesday when our Calgary disc golf courses got closed down due to Covid-19 restrictions. Some complained, but others, led by James Koizumi, turned it into an opportunity to get things cleaned up while the courses were closed. Plans were made to cleanup all courses on Saturday May 2 at 1pm. Thanks to the organizational talents of Shawn Friesen, work groups were formed to clean up each course. Great job by everyone involved, this has been a great example of what an awesome disc golf community we have here! We had over 60 players out cleaning up our city courses! No pictures, but Forest Lawn was also completed today – Thanks Wes & Kevin!
